Hey There!
My name is Nina Lyons, I am a freelance graphic designer & illustrator.
As a freelancer, I provide my clients with all design services including: brand consultation, the application of branding across all ranges from stationery to annual reports, interactive design to website design and book design & editorial design to exterior/interior display design.
My experience is extensive in the area of freelancing, from dealing with clients on a daily basis to bringing an idea from concept stage through to finished piece. Though freelancing tends to mean that I work on projects alone that is not always the case. I have worked in teams on several projects, most recently was the book layout for Captain KAN, where I worked closely with Illustrator Michelle O’Connor.
Previously I was a branding mentor for the Kerry Enterprise Board providing their clients with advice and consultation regarding the development and future direction of their brands.
I was also a guest lecturer on the National Digital Media Course run by Fás.
Along side my freelance work, I co-own and run RiseCreatives.

Awards
In June 2003 I was awarded membership to the International Society of Typographic Designers for my design work on the Muckross Abbey Project.

I have a BA in Design from the Limerick School of Art & Design and a MA from Dublin Institute of Technology.
